We are so excited to introduce a new collection of 4 tables to our line, which we have called 'White Oak | Black Smoke'.
Made out out of hand-scraped and wire-brushed solid slabs of white oak, we applied a beautiful black stain to each one of these tables and finished each with WOCA Denmark natural oils and waxes.
The result is a beautiful and completely unique "blacked out" look for the tables. We've shown the tables on our trapezoid base in black, but, with our customization options, the tables can be ordered with powder coated bases in any color or chrome plated.
Three of the tables (Callisto, Io, Ganymede) are similar in size, around 2" x 40" x 111" and the fourth (Europa) is more narrow, at 24"-32" in width. Every table has its own character, with its own knots, burls, curves, and edges.
We decided to name the four tables we created after the four moons of Jupiter. We find that their character is dark, complex, and infinitely alluring - a fitting tribute to celestial bodies.
